Help Wanted     N.O.P.R. welcomes sincere volunteers to join our group. We are a very serious research group, so if your interest in the paranormal is idle curiosity this is probably not what you’re looking for. Although we do not dismiss or scoff at the use of crystals, channeling, smudging, seances, pendulums, or any other method often used by other paranormal investigators, N.O.P.R. feels that these methods do not promote our goals in field investigations. Please read: "Who We Are & How We Work" We consider open-minded skeptics to be our most valuable resource. For those who are devoted believers, or devoted non-believers, a research group would be a pointless endeavor - you already have all the answers. (Sorry folks - just a little paranormal humour) We are all volunteers and we offer no monetary reward for your efforts. N.O.P.R. never charges for our time or service (see our Mission Statement) nor do we allow members to use the group to profit in any way and you must sign an agreement to that extent. Our client’s confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us. If your interest in joining our group is focused on roaming through "haunted" sites and experiencing those things that go bump in the night, you may be disappointed. Most of our work involves hours of research and going through recordings, videos, and notes that may contain nothing out of the normal - but when you do find something that refuses to yield to any rational explanation, it is all worthwhile! N.O.P.R. also has ongoing rsearch projects in all areas of the paranormal.   Although much interest in the paranormal is now being generated by a flood of movies and television shows, there really are no set standards for those of us interested in doing serious research. Every application will be considered on it’s own merits but presently we are looking for:   Researchers and/or Historians Photographers - you need not be a professional photographer but must be knowledgeable of photography. Audio/Video - once again, you don’t need to be a professional but must be knowledgeable and willing to learn new skills Since much of our work involves eliminating physical causes for unexplained phenomena someone involved with, or knowledge of, the building trades may be a welcome addition to our team.
